At this time, we do not sell Certified Organic products. While our meats are not certified as Organic by the USDA, all animals we source are humanely raised and processed in the US.
For Chicken and Pork: Federal regulations established by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) prohibit the use of any hormones or steroids in chicken and pork.
For Beef: The cattle ranchers may add growth hormones to the feed. With all of our beef products there is a 120-day step down program so that any hormones or antibiotics will be metabolized by the animal and cleared from their system. Testing is done by a USDA representative to ensure there are no hormones or antibiotics in the system of the cattle prior to processing.
For Beef: If an animal falls ill a veterinarian determines if there is a need for the cow to receive antibiotics. If antibiotics are considered a necessity the cow is treated and then monitored to ensure full health is restored prior to rejoining the herd.
For chicken: Low levels of antibiotics may be used when necessary to prevent disease, and for animal welfare purposes. This also benefits growth promotion and reduced mortality. It is our farm producers goal to use the lowest, effective level permissible when use is required. More importantly, 100% of our processed chicken products are free of residual antibiotics through adherence to FDA-approved withdrawal times. Before any animal is processed they are randomly inspected by the USDA to ensure that the animal is clear of all antibiotic residue.
For Pork: Our supplier’s commitment to the highest standards of food safety and animal care includes the appropriate administration of antibiotics to treat and control diseases and to ensure good animal health. The company strives to limit antibiotics use through enhanced management practices and vaccines intended to improve animal health.
All animals we source are born, raised and processed in the US.
Some of our products do contain sodium nitrite. Sodium nitrite is a salt and an anti-oxidant that is used to cure meats like ham, bacon and hot dogs. Cured meats by their definition must include sodium nitrite. Its shelf life also would be shortened substantially without it. The preservative sodium nitrite fights harmful bacteria in processed and cured meats.
Typically, only GMO free feed would be found in organic products. At this time, Zaycon Fresh does not have an organic option.
Once you arrive you will see traffic cones and signs directing you to our Zaycon Fresh truck. Our driver will collect your order information and load your selections into your vehicle for you. We do all the work!
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. At this time, we do not accept PayPal or EBT, but we hope to be able to do this in the future.
Your card is charged at the time your order is submitted.
We are sorry that we do not have any sales events in your area. Our logistics team is working hard to reach all of our customers. We will send out email notifications with upcoming event information when that is available.
Our system is not setup to accept partial payments, however, that is something we are working on for the future.
We always recommend that you follow the FDA’s guidelines for safe food storage. According to the FDA, fresh Chicken Breasts are safe to store for 1-2 days in your refrigerator.

Our events typically start Monday morning at 8am and go throughout the week ending on Saturday evening. The driver has between 5-8 stops (events) to go to each day, keeping him on a tight schedule. The time and day of your event depend on how our logistics department is able to schedule the events for the route.
Our goal is to offer each of our products bi-annually and more often if at all possible. We do our best to focus on a new featured item each month. We will send out email notifications to inform you of upcoming events in your area.
We are not able to ship your purchase(s) to your home. Our success is based on a localized distribution method, which allows us to pass savings on to our customers and keep our prices low.

Please contact our customer service department for more information and to be added to the waiting list.
We periodically have email or social media offers, so keep an eye out for those. Please check your account to make sure your email address is up to date and subscribed.

There are a few reasons why we cannot offer sample packs of our products. The first reason is our trucks only carry the specific product(s) we are offering for that sales event. Second, many of our products come from different suppliers. It would be impossible for us as the "middle man" to create a sample pack of products from different suppliers without directly handling the product. Third, many of our products are not delivered the same way, i.e. we cannot deliver fresh and frozen products at the same time or in the same package. On a side note, a big part of our business model is getting customers quality bulk foods at a low price; we are able to do this because we sell in bulk using wholesale packaging.
We do not give discounts for large groups. We do have promo code, which we send out via email.
According to the FDA, the gluten free claim is voluntary and must be made by our farm producers. Since some of our producers do not test for gluten, we cannot make a gluten free claim. Also, spice formulations from our suppliers and secondary suppliers can change from time to time. Because of this, along with the possibility of cross-contamination of ingredients, we cannot absolutely guarantee that any of our products will be gluten-free.
